Residential Design

We share the concern of "house and home".
We implement 'value engineering' in our planning and design of the Home.. By implementing self-sufficiency into our designs, we give people opportunity to once again live as an intergral part of nature. Both new tech and old tech components such as those you would find at Creative Engery Tech. help bring our designs to life.

Home Sweet Home

Health and Healing When Evitavonni Architecture engages in the rapid advancing technology of Today's Health Care, We are challenged to learn ever more than imagined.
Our experience with Health Care Facilities is diverse and unusual.

We are aware of the diversity and change in both materials and methods. We accommodate these "advancements" in our planning and design of INDUSTRIAL facilities.
We are committed to the "education and future" of our children. We strategize these 'long term' goals in our planning and design of INSTITUTIONAL facilities.
Captains of Industry

The Market Place We understand the drive and passion of "progress".
We communicate these 'signs of the times' in our planning and design of COMMERCIAL and RETAIL facilities.

We respect the need for "special places". We express 'fantastic nature' in our planning and design of HOTELS, CLUBS and RESORTS. Relax and Enjoy !!

Here is our contribution to the development of this i n f o r m a t i o n

Hello, my name is Vince Carlson. Welcome to 'information at your fingertips'. I've been working on this page for a long time. This page is the ultimate design challenge; take all the information in the world and integrate it, harmoniously and functionally. WOW !!!. To implement this grand vision, we will need lots-o-tools-n-time. So be patient, stay tuned. It is a lot of work to find good links and to keep them updated. If you find a link has been "out dated" OR, you find a link with "virtue", Please ! let me know. We want this to be the starting point for all AEC (Architecture, Engineering and Construction) resources on the net. These links were great when I found them, but can't promise they have stayed that way. Good Luck and Enjoy.

~ What's Out Here ? ~

Well, if you're interested in the latest developments relating to Architecture, Engineering and Construction, you've come to the right place !

~ Interaction = Communication ~

If you are a Design Professional already on a Project Team; use your Access Code to Download the most current Project Files.
Sit down in Our Virtual Conference Room and let's review the issues.

Likewise, for comprehensive building product descriptions, applications, properties and performances; Architects' First Source should be your first stop.

C.A.D.D. is Our acronym for Computer Assisted Design and Development. We use CADD in all Phases of a Project.

The Cad Depot is a great place to find CADD Freeware/Shareware productivity tools.

~ Discover New Ideas ~

Check out examples of "alternative" structures such as The Geodesic Dome;or "alternative" building materials such as the BLUE MAXX wallsystem, an easy-to-use insulated concrete forming system.

You can also research the some 130,000 images of Art and Architecture; located on the Australian National University server"ArtServe".

How about learning to build your own Straw Bale House or an " E a r t h s h i p " out of used tires.

~ On-Line Periodicals ~

Relax and catch up on the latest issues of great periodicals such as Architronic Electronic Journal of Architecture. few of many Rresourceful Journals on the Web.

~ Even Brighter Ideas ~

We believe that Lighting is very important.

Light can influence our behavior as well as our perception. Learn about what psychologists call S. A. D. (Seasonal Affective Disorder) and the symptoms and cures for this 'totally depressing reality.'

Learn more about the Health Effects of Indoor Lighting or read Alice Dodsons' article on Toxic House syndrome

When it comes to light.....plants are like people,...... read about the different Types of Light.

There are many different Types of Bulbs and now you can not only review the specifications, but also Search & Find a specific item, then order it.

What about fixtures ? They're out here also, a few examples would be Special Effects Lighting , Theater & Stage Lighting and Cathedral Lighting .

Yes, you can become "enlightened" on the net.

Solstice is the Internet information service of the Center for Renewable Energy and Sustainable Technology (CREST), and is your site for Sustainable Energy and Development Information. I personally enjoy gazing upon "The Solstice",(The Center for Renewable Engery & Sustainable Technology), for new ideas.

~ Technical Information ~

Building Codes, Regulations and Standards

Consult the experts at ADA/CDC American Disabilities Act, Compliance, Design, and Construction is a full service general contractor, specializing in accessible compliance, design, and construction.

The A.D.A. Home Page provides information on the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Another handy reference is the O.S.H.A. Server with which you can search for various Occupational Saftey & Health Admin. requirements.

Find answers on the Code Check website; an online version of the popular field guide to the most common code violations for residential construction.

If you have a great idea, you might want to get in touch with the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office.

~ Carpenters as Craftsmen ~

Who was it that said "God is in the Details" ? Well, if you believe that the execution of good design is in the skilled hands of the craftsmen like Gale Evanson, your not alone.

Are you thinking of Building ?

First bookmark the available resources, like Bill Christensen's Sustainable Building Source Book which uncover topics like water, engery, building materials and solid waste.

Visit "Cyburbia - The Planning and Architecture Internet Resource Center, maintained on the University at Buffalo School of Architecture and Planning Web server, contains a comprehensive directory of Internet resources relevant to the built environment.
Cyburbia also contains information about related mailing lists and Usenet newsgroups, and hosts several interactive message areas."

Companies like National Gypsum have very helpful design information available (thanks).

~ The Landscape ~

Reference the Books that Work Garden Encyclopedia for technical information.

But best of all, consult a professional like Carole Boleman , Landscape Architect for project specific advice.

When you've become familiar with the "details" check out the local nurseries for young, new life. I truly enjoy wandering through the green houses of Molbaks in Woodinville, Washington.
